My wife and I could not be more pleased with the ASA 101 class. We felt that while the class was expensive, it was much more extensive and prepared us much better than competing sailing schools could have done.  Captain Chip Lohman's instruction was top-notch. He made us feel comfortable right away, he taught us very well, and was altogether professional and friendly. We will definitely request him for our next course.  We couldn't be happier with the quality of the school and its service. Rita was very helpful prior to the class in preparing us for what to expect.  The boat was great. I was really impressed with the professionalism throughout the class, and this extended to the care of the boat and its systems.  We chose the Maryland School because it seemed much more professional than other schools in the area. Tom Tursi's videos on YouTube helped come to that conclusion - please have him do more! The Island Packet 32 was also one of the reasons we booked with your organization. Many schools use dinghys or other small boats, but we felt the larger boat was much more applicable to the kind of boat we would want to sail on regularly.  We commend everyone at the school for their professionalism, friendliness, and exceptional instruction. We will not hesitate to book with you again.
