~ A Cut Above ~

Marcia Starkman, who took our two-day ASA118 Docking course in June 2018, sent the following comments

~

I wanted to take Captain Frank Mummert home with us! He is the best! If he ever has the time or inkling to take on another career as a marriage counselor, he would be terrific! If my fiance and I did not kill each other during this class, we owe Capt. Frank all the credit. It got "rough out there" a few times, and ordinarily, I probably would have jumped off the boat and said "Eff This!" I am a very stubborn, sensitive, and easily overwhelmed absolute newbie when it comes to sailing. Capt. Frank treated me so skillfully and with so much kindness, that I actually enjoyed myself, became more confident, and stayed on the boat to finish the class. He helped us communicate better with each other on and off the boat. Priceless! Worth every cent!!!”
