~ A Cut Above ~

We recently received the following note from Lacy Shelby who took our ASA101 class with Captain Frank Mummert in May 2019

~

What a treat to be on such a well kept boat. The size of the vessel was manageable and also offered an opportunity to work many different positions. This boat is very tidy and I appreciated the ability for us to just move in and make it our own.  The class size made it possible to get to know the other students and left plenty of time for all of us to practice all the skills.  Captain Frank is exceptional. Patient, thorough, engaging and truly invested in the student's experience. He skillfully took us through a sequence of practical objectives and carefully built on each skill taught. Frank is flexible and very willing to work with the student's interests and sailing goals. Wonderful!  Rita was very mindful of my comfort and safety. I felt she was very accessible and reached out to me to let me know of any changes in plans. I really appreciated her being proactive with communication.  This experience exceeded my expectations. Frank successfully communicated the tacking and jibing principals verbally, and of course, the physical act of doing them and also he graphically sketched out the maneuver on a piece of paper, which I found very useful.  Thank you for an excellent time. I have been raving about it to my friends and family. I'll look forward to coming back.
