Cathy Reynolds, who took a Private Docking Course Refresher in July 2021, sent the following note: ~ The private docking instruction was perfect for our three
participants. As a result, we were a well-oiled machine while docking during our
recent charter. Even when we had a couple of surprises during docking, my
husband (and captain of the trip) was extremely confident in his ability to
handle what the dock threw at us. He had previously taken the full docking class
and I think the refresher private instruction gave him a lot of that confidence.
This bareboat charter would have been way more stressful if we hadn’t had the
docking experience we were able to get from Frank Mummert’s private
instruction. The docking style was perfect for us. We really appreciate that the
Maryland School of Sailing and Seamanship accommodated our request for this
