~ A Cut Above ~

John McDonald, who took our ASA101 and 103 sailing classes and ASA118 docking class in Spring 2018, sent the following notes:

~

The 103 class exceeded my expectations.  Captain Riley was the best. He was very patient and knowledgeable.  Rita, was very helpful. She had the books in my hands way before class started. The office staff was ready when I got to the marina. Very well run organization.  Scholarship was clean and ready to sail.  Keep doing what you do. Keep up the high level of your teaching staff.  This was the 3rd course I have had at your school. The experience has exceeded my expectations every time.  I would recommend your school to everyone interested in sailing. I was lucky to have had Captain Riley as a teacher for both the 101 and 103 classes. Doug is very patient and took the time to answer every question asked of him. Every student in the class had equal time at the wheel . Doug went thru every task to complete the 103 coarse. Its not often in life that you walk away from something you spend money on and feel good about it. This was well worth the money spent. I can not wait to get back next year for 104. The coarse was a great confidence builder. Thank you for a great learning experience.

John McDonald
