~ A Cut Above ~

Jay Fenske, who took our ASA103 sailing class in June 2019, sent the following note

~

Thank you for another great class. We have come to expect nothing less from your school. We come to the Maryland School because we care more about knowledge and skills than we do about certifications. There are far easier and less expensive ways of obtaining the same certifications (but not the same experience). The boats, instructors, and curriculum are second to none. We are already looking forward to our 104 class next season. We plan our annual family vacations around our classes and our eventual goal of a charter vacation in the islands. I am a firm believer in training. I never want to try something for the first time alone. I want to have already done it under the guidance of an instructor. Furthermore, I don’t believe in being prepared. I believe in being over prepared. Your philosophy and methods match ours. Thanks again for a great experience.
