~ A Cut Above ~

Sandy Brown, who took an ASA101 course with us in July 2013, included the following comments in her feedback form:

~

I received the materials in plenty of time to prepare for my class. The materials were top notch with clear instructions about what to expect and how to prepare. The course built on key learnings until everything came together and I was able to incorporate what I had learned into my ability to become a much better sailor. It was a fun and engaging class. The boats are perfectly outfitted to accommodate skills training and a comfy place for sleeping. The marina is very comfortable although slightly challenging to find the first time.

Captain Andy was very competent at sailing and teaching. The course is very hands on. We learned new skills every day and practiced both new and prior learning each day.

The staff is competent, thorough and very helpful.

I would place a few signs directing people to the marina on the first day. I'd consider making a highlighted route map to send in the packet.

You have stellar reputation and have goals and values similar to mine - be as safe as possible. The island packets, location and timing was just what I was looking for.
