~ A Cut Above ~

Iwona Awlasewicz, who took our ASA103 sailing course in June 2019, sent the following note

~

This is the only school that takes pride at what they do. I could not find another school that offers 103 for 4 days and it is still not enough.  I can write a book about Captain Mummert. He actually is excited by students who want to learn how to sail and sail well. I was grateful for his patience and suggestions for improvements on my technique. And then there are the stories: he has a story about everything. The man has lived more than three lives.  Rita is the glue that holds this school together. She is true to her word, does not promise anything she cannot deliver on and will bend over backwards without compromising her integrity. I have nothing but respect for her.  Thank you for always letting your students sleep on the boat and providing super clear instructions for how to be on the boat. MDS has a great reputation. When I mention where I got my credentials, they cary weight.
