~ A Cut Above ~

I knew I was in for a good class but it far exceeded my expectations.  Captain Gifford took everything into account while instructing as we had lots of rain on one day and maybe no wind in some other days and so packed the materials in those bad windows which allowed us to maximize use of wind when it was available. I was unprepared when I came to the class but with his slightly laid back method of teaching I was able to absorb most all of the concepts. He is a great instructor.  I chose the school because of the proximity to the water I might sail on initially, and also for the appearance of a serious school. Having taken the class, it was no longer an appearance but a fact.  I had done ASA 101 at another place but it was not as thorough as this.  Keep doing what you are doing.
