These half-day seminars are intended to share with our graduates and the sailing public in general some of the sailing and seamanship knowledge that we've acquired over these past many years of going to sea. Currently scheduled topics are:

Preparing For Your First Offshore Passage
Things to consider in getting your boat, crew, equipment and procedures ready for a blue water ocean passage.
Saturday, May 15... 12 noon to 2 pm

Ocean Strategies
Dealing with currents, prevailing winds & weather systems, or why you must sometime sail north to go south.
Saturday, July 3... 12 noon to 2 pm

Delmarva Circumnavigation
An advanced coastal cruise as a stepping stone learning experience for sailing the Big Blue.
Saturday, August 7... 12 noon to 2 pm

Off to the Azores... The Dream Fulfilled
Sailing the North Atlantic Gyre on a 6,000 mile round trip.
Saturday, September 25... 12 noon to 2 pm
